Biography:

Roberto Todini began his studies with M. Vincenzo Paoletti, and at the Perugia Conservatory with M. Alfio Galigani, with which, in addition to academic studies, marked his first experiences with jazz. He also worked with Massimo Mazzoni and Federico Mondelci with which he explored a different way of playing the instrument, and learned the style paramount to the French saxophone school. He continued his studies with Jean Marie Londeix then, beginning a personal search, of sound and interpretation.

He has worked with Eugene Rousseau and has follow his teachings. He has the honor of being present among the international Rousseau Mouthpiece Artists. He has collaborated with Italian and foreign Lyric-Symphonic Orchestras, recorded for RAI and other private broadcasters, recorded LPs and CDs for various record companies. Parallel to the concert activity, he carries out teaching activities with passion and dedication. Roberto Todini teaches saxophone at the “Francesco Morlacchi” Conservatory in Perugia Italy.
